About
The original ACCESS building - 1971

Our community is struggling and it will take all of us to make change a reality.

ACCESS is no stranger to tackling substance use disorder (SUD). For over 50 years we have been serving the community and since 2016, ACCESS has been saving and changing the lives of those affected by SUD in SE Michigan.

However, over the past decade, opioid-related deaths have nearly doubled in the state of Michigan, taking the lives of loved ones across our community. This is a growing epidemic that needs a growing capacity to meet it.

Building the ACCESS Recovery Center will provide a lifeline of hope for those most affected by this crisis.

The Center

51,000 square feet
3 floors of extensive care
one goal in mind:
save lives

Recovery comes in all shapes and sizes, and our facility will be built to meet it on every level. From top to bottom.

Clinical Care:

Detox services, crisis stabilization, and outpatient care.

A Supportive Residential Setting:

Will house a short-term residential care unit.

Wrap around services:

Basic needs, legal aid, housing, education, employment and more.
